Unbeaten Green Bay was favored to do serious damage to winless St. Louis. And thanks to Aaron Rodgers, the Packers did. Rodgers threw for 310 yards and had three first half touchdowns, and Green Bay cruised to a 24-3 victory over the Rams.
Rodgers found James Jones, Jordy Nelson, and Donald Driver on touchdown throws in the second quarter. His throw to Nelson went for 93 yards, a career long for both the quarterback and the receiver. James Starks added 49 yards for the Packers on the ground.
St. Louis kicked a field goal in the final minute of the first half after allowing the Packers to score the game's first 24 points, then didn't score again. Sam Bradford threw for 321 yards in the loss, while Steven Jackson ran for 96 yards, and the Rams actually outgained Green Bay, 424 yards to 399.
With the win, the Packers move to 6-0 on the season, while the Rams dropped to 0-5 with the loss.
