The New York Jets will look to cap off a three-game losing streak with what looks to be a very winnable game against the Miami Dolphins.
The New York Jets are in must-win territory against the Miami Dolphins on Monday Night Football. Fortunately for the home team, the Dolphins' starting quarterback is out for the season and their best receiver plans to go crazy, a recipe that should allow New York to pick up a win after losing its previous three contests.
The Jets have had difficult games the past three weeks -- on the road against probable playoff teams -- but that isn't exactly a good excuse for a team that head coach Rex Ryan still thinks is headed to the Super Bowl. The Jets have one of the worst offenses in the NFL and quarterback Mark Sanchez hasn't exactly done anything to change that so far this season.
For the Dolphins, well, they've all but imploded heading into this game. As mentioned above, Chad Henne is out for the season and Brandon Marshall plans to get ejected prior to halftime. In their place will be Matt Moore, a former starter for the Carolina Panthers, and probably a leaning on the now-healthy Danieal Thomas in the backfield.
This game probably makes ESPN wish it had the ability to flex schedule its Monday night schedule.
Game Date/Time: Monday, October 17; 8:30 pm ET
Location: MetLife Stadium, East Rutherford, N.J.
TV Schedule: ESPN
Radio Schedule
Dolphins: WMXJ, WAXY
Jets: WABC, WEPN
