The Miami Dolphins were able to put a dent in the New York Jets lead after a long reception by Dolphins wide receiver Brandon Marshall. Marshall beat Jets cornerback Antonio Cromartie down the field and Dolphins quarterback Matt Moore kept the play alive with a scramble, connected on a 46-yard pass. Marshall had open field in front of him, but lost his balance and wound up out of bounds.
Unfortunately for the Dolphins, Brandon Marshall then dropped a touchdown pass two plays later. The ball simply just went right through his hands, forcing the Dolphins to settle for yet another field goal, cutting the Jets lead 7-6. That's 14 points Marshall has let slip through his hands so far.
