Ever since news surfaced that free agent Terrell Owens had torn his ACL earlier this summer, he's maintained that he's working out in an effort to return to the field. His agent, Drew Rosenhaus, wrote on Twitter on Wednesday that Owens is 100 percent healthy and ready to play now.
I will be contacting the teams today to inform them that is immediately available to visit and work out for them. He could play this Sunday!
The chances of him playing this Sunday are very, very slim. In fact, you have to wonder if he'll play at all this year. Any teams looking to add receiver depth to their roster had their opportunity at the NFL trade deadline this week (an opportunity the Rams took to grab Brandon Lloyd).
That said, some team out there may look to add T.O. down the stretch, a team like the Tennessee Titans, who didn't completely close the door on the idea of signing Owens at some point.
We'll see if any takes the bait on Owens and brings him in for a workout.
