Two high-powered offenses face off as the Lions look to get a 4-0 start on the season in Dallas.
Dallas gutted out a big win on Monday night against Washington. Tony Romo and DeMarcus Ware hope to ride that momentum into a tough matchup against the Detroit Lions.
Both team bring high-powered offenses to the field. Detroit and Dallas are both averaging more than 400 passing yards per game. Detroit wide receiver Calvin Johnson became the first player in NFL history to have at least two receiving touchdowns in his first three games of the season.
Dallas will be looking to pass rusher DeMarcus Ware to hassle Matt Stafford. Ware leads the NFL with five sacks, and now has 85 sacks through his first 100 career NFL games. He is second only to Hall of Famer Reggie White, who totaled 105 sacks in his first 100 games. Detroit has their own sack specialist in second-year defensive tackle Ndamukong Suh.
Game Date/Time: Sunday, October 2, 2011, 1:00 p.m.
Location: Cowboys Stadium, Arlington, TX
