Dez Bryant continues to show signs that his quadriceps injury is behind him. The second-year receiver made a nice leaping 25-yard touchdown catch to give the Dallas Cowboys a 7-0 lead over the Detroit Lions on Sunday.
Bryant was listed as questionable before the game, but was declared fit and given the start. Judging by the way he worked his way around Lions cornerback Chris Houston on the catch, he looks to be doing just fine.
Bryant has been battling injuries much of the year, but now has two touchdowns and seems well on his way to having a third quality game. He did miss the Week 2 matchup against the San Francisco 49ers, but has managed to make eight catches so far this year.
Despite making just two starts a year ago, he still managed to make six touchdown grabs and rack up 561 yards on 45 carries. He appears well on his way to surpassing those numbers this year.
