Andre Johnson Injury Update: Texans Receiver Reportedly Injures Hamstring, Not Knee

Good news for Texans and their fans (and fantasy owners everywhere): Houston is calling the Andre Johnson injury a hamstring strain. That means it is not a knee injury. This is encouraging news, even if Johnson does not return to Sunday's game vs. the Steelers.

ESPN's John Clayton reported the news via Twitter:

Texans are calling Andre Johnson's injury hamstring, not knee. Return still questionable.

The Andre Johnson injury occurred in the first half when he collapsed without any contact from a Steelers defender. If the injury is in fact to the hamstring, that's great news for Johnson, who has had knee trouble in his career. Here's video of the injury:
