Donald Driver Injury: Receiver Has Knee Injury, Return Questionable

Stay connected with SB Nation

The Green Bay Packers' offense is cruising against the Denver Broncos, but they could be without one of their key players for the rest of the day. Wide receiver Donald Driver was helped off the field early in the second quarter following an Aaron Rodgers rushing touchdown, on which he was hit by Brian Dawkins. Driver appears to have picked up a knee injury, and the team is calling his return questionable.

The good news for the Packers is that they're deep at the position. Both Greg Jennings and Jordy Nelson have already ripped off big plays, while James Jones and Randall Cobb are also contributing. The presence of those four will help minimize the impact of Driver's loss for the Packers, but it's obviously still not good for a team to lose their all-time leading receiver.
