The Chargers got over 300 passing yards from Philip Rivers and four field goals from Nick Novak to beat Miami, 26-16. The Dolphins remain winless in 2011.

It was a field goal fest in San Diego, but Philip Rivers' steady hand helped the San Diego Charges outlast the Miami Dolphins. And having Vincent Jackson to catch his passes helped, too.

Rivers threw for 307 yards and a touchdown to Jackson, who had three catches for 108 yards in the first half before leaving with an injury, as the Chargers cruised to a 26-16 victory.

The Chargers also got a touchdown run from Mike Tolbert, and Ryan Mathews accumulated 149 combined rushing and receiving yards.

Chad Henne left early for Miami due to injury, forcing Matt Moore into the game in his stead. While neither threw for a touchdown, both Dolphins quarterbacks found the time to throw an interception, and the Miami running game gained just 72 yards.

Chargers kicker Nick Novak kicked four field goals; Miami's Dan Carpenter had two three-pointers for the Dolphins.

The Chargers moved to 3-1 with the win, and left Miami 0-4 with the loss.
