Atlanta Falcons wide receiver Julio Jones missed a second straight day of practice and is looking like a game-time decision against the Lions, at best right now. Jones sat out Wednesday's practice with a hamstring injury that knocked him out of the Falcons loss to the Packers two Sundays ago.
The Falcons face the Lions this Sunday and then have a bye week. While Jones will likely be a last minute decision, the odds are high that he does not play this weekend. The addition of a bye week on the other end of this makes the decision a little easier, even though the Falcons have a huge game this weekend. A re-aggravation of the injury could result in multiple more weeks off for Jones.
In the meantime, Harry Douglas will look to build on a couple big catches against Carolina as he will likely once again get the start opposite Roddy White. Douglas finished with only two catches but combined them for 57 yards. Roddy White and Tony Gonzalez remain the leading targets, but Matt Ryan will look to spread it around against the Lions.
