NFL Picks And Predictions Week 7: Seahawks Vs. Browns

Stay connected with SB Nation

Can the Seattle Seahawks pull off their second straight road win?

Seattle surprised the football world with a win over the New York Giants in their last game. With a bye last week, the rest of the world went back to forgetting about the Seahawks. They travel east again this week to play the Cleveland Browns, led by general manager Mike Holmgren, the man who put the Seahawks on the map in the first place.

And just how will this game of rebuilding franchises shake out? Mike Tanier at the New York Times predicts a Browns' win and also notes:

Seahawks quarterback Tarvaris Jackson (ankle) was a limited practice participant this week, but Charlie Whitehurst took most of the snaps with the first-team offense. Pete Carroll said he may not choose his starting quarterback until Sunday. The Browns are preparing for both by trying to keep a straight face.

ESPN's panel of experts is mostly going with the Browns as well, with a few people picking the Seahawks. Andrew Sharp at SB Nation takes the Browns, so does Peter King
