Though it looked like he might, Tim Tebow did not disappoint the Florida fans who turned out to see him play against the Dolphins in South Florida today. Trailing by a score of 15-0, Tebow put the Broncos on the board with a touchdown pass to Demaryius Thomas in the fourth quarter. One recovered onside kick later, Tim Tebow and the Broncos tied the game and sent it to overtime.
With less than a minute left on the clock, Tebow hit tight end Daniels Fells on a short pass to his right, which Fells ran in for the touchdown. That made the score 15-13, and Denver went for the two-point conversion.
For some odd reason, the Dolphins defense seemed to have no idea that Tebow might run the ball on the two-point conversion play. He did, and the Broncos tied the Dolphins to send the game to overtime.
Denver missed two field goals earlier in the game.
Here’s video of Tebow’s second touchdown and the two-point conversion.
