Early in the match-up between the Oakland Raiders and Kansas City Chiefs, Darren McFadden had to leave the game due to an undisclosed injury. McFadden, a major reason for Oakland’s 4-2 start has been in the Raiders locker room, leaving Michael Bush to carry the load versus the Chiefs.
In 6 games this season, McFadden has amassed 610 rushing yards and 4 touchdowns, as one of the more dangerous running backs in the NFL in 2011. Having added Carson Palmer to the mix, the Raiders were preparing for a playoff run where they could both run and pass the ball efficiently.
The severity of McFadden’s injury is still unclear but the Raiders know that they cannot afford to lose him for any significant amount of time. But the location of the injury is said to be to his foot. We’ll update you as soon as we know more.
