Percy Harvin has been nursing a sore rib all year long, but despite missing some practice this week, he was cleared to play. Unfortunately, he didn't last long, as the Vikings lost the dynamic wide receiver in the third quarter. From the team's official Twitter account:
That's not good, especially with the Vikings trailing the visiting Green Bay Packers 30-17 late in the third quarter. The Vikings actually led for much of the first half, but Green Bay has scored 20 unanswered points to take control of the game. Adrian Peterson is doing his usual thing (15 carries, 84 yards, TD) but Christian Ponder will likely be throwing a lot in the final quarter to catch up. But with Harvin on the bench, he'll be missing one of his top options.
Harvin tallied just 15 yards on two catches before leaving. Michael Jenkins leads the Vikings with 87 yards and two catches.
