NFL Odds And Lines Week 8: Chargers Vs. Chiefs

The Chiefs will try to pull off an upset over the Chargers at Arrowhead on Monday night. Can they pull off the win and cover the 3 1/2 point spread.

Few expected the Kansas City Chiefs to battling for the top spot in the AFC West this week at home against the San Diego Chargers. Todd Haley's team lost their first three games of the season, and looked positively demoralized after losing both running back Jamaal Charles and safety Eric Berry. They won their next three games, and now sit one game back from San Diego in the division.

The Chargers are off to a 4-2 start, a rarity in the Norv Turner era. They lost last week to the Jets, and the schedule gets tougher with games against Green Bay and Oakland after this week.

San Diego is favored by 3 1/2 points over Kansas City. That's where the line has been all week. The Chiefs are 4-2 against the spread, and that number flips to 2-4 for the Chargers this season. The over/under for this game is 44.
