Matthew Stafford and the Detroit Lions are in a playoff race, but have dropped their last two. Can they get back on track against the Denver Broncos? Who cares, Tim Tebow is playing!
Following a fantastic 5-0 start, the Detroit Lions have dropped two straight games and are now chasing the Green Bay Packers in the NFC North. They're on the road in Week 8, but they'll still be heavy favorites against the Denver Broncos, who are the current recipients of more hype and attention than just about any below average team in recent memory.
Matthew Stafford is the latest participant in the Tim Tebow circus, and this will probably be the first game in his career where he is the less talked about young quarterback on the field. Tebow is the NFL. If he scores a touchdown against Detroit, he will do the Tebow, and everyone will laugh about how Tebow is Tebowing. Also, the Lions are a good football team and the Broncos are not a good football team.
