The Philadelphia Eagles got off to a good start in their NFC East battle with the Dallas Cowboys on Sunday Night Football. Michael Vick found wide receiver Jeremy Maclin from 12 yards on third and nine to get the Eagles on the scoreboard early following their bye week.
Vick completed two passes for 36 yards on the opening drive, both to Maclin, while adding an additional 15 yards on the ground to make up for the majority of the Eagles' yardage. Running back LeSean McCoy had three rushing attempts for 25 yards, though his 21-yard burst was the only one that really did any damage.
If history is any indication, this game could be a shootout -- especially judging by the less than five minutes it took for Vick and the Eagles to work themselves downfield.
