ANIMATED: Philadelphia Eagles Center Has Snap Issues

Stay connected with SB Nation

I'm not actually sure how this happens. It would seem a center would know when a quarterback is lined up in the shotgun or not. In one case, the quarterback is a good five yards behind the line of scrimmage. In the other, the quarterback has his hands planted firmly on the center's backside. Seems simple, right?

Wrong!

How does this even happen? I get momentary lapses and all, but this seems pretty simple as a center. Either the quarterback's hands are there or they're not.
