Don't look now, but the New York Giants are rolling. The experts see a big win this week when they host Seattle.
Seattle makes the dreaded cross country flight for a matinee game at the Meadowlands, one that starts at 10 a.m. on Seattle clocks. That's a tall order for any team, especially one that has failed to win on the road since last November.
New York righted the ship after a awful start to the season. It looked like injuries might sink the fell the Giants, but they continue to find ways to win, and are now hitting their stride. Ahmad Bradshaw is averaging better than 4 yards per carry. Don't look now, but quarterback Eli Manning is having a pretty good season, with a little help from Hakeem Nicks.
Look for a big Giants win, according to Peter Schrager at Fox.
I got butchered by readers back in August for selecting Tom Coughlin as my pick for 2011 NFL Coach of the Year. Four weeks into the season, he's certainly in that conversation. Despite injuries, a sea of know-it-all doubters, and a horrid Week 1 loss in Washington to start the year, the Giants have now rattled off three straight wins and are atop the NFC East standings with the ‘Skins. They're on a roll. Look for a rocking home crowd and a three-touchdown win over the Seahawks, here.
ESPN picks unanimously for the Giants. The panel at CBS concurs, and Peter King sees a lopsided Giants win as well.
