Can the Chiefs get a second straight win against a winless opponent or are the Colts the pick to finally get a win?
Would it be surprising if the expert picks for this Chiefs vs. Colts Week 5 matchup was just a bunch of people writing "tie"? These two teams are a combined 1-7 this season with Kansas City owning the lone win -- against the winless Vikings.
Still, a win's a win and the Chiefs have that going for them. Meanwhile, last week the Colts looked like they could stun the Bucs and pick up a win in Curtis Painter's debut, only to snatch defeat from the jaws of victory in the final minutes.
Winning last week was apparently enough for Las Vegas to make the Chiefs 3-point favorites in Indy. Most of all, this game seems to have the experts throwing up their hands, shrugging and taking a guess -- while giving a slight edge to the Colts.
The ESPN.com expert mega-panel likes the Colts with seven out of eight picking Indy. The CBSSports.com crew is 3-2 in favor of Indy. On the other hand, the NFL.com staff is leaning toward the Chiefs 3-1. SB Nation's own Andrew Sharp likes the Chiefs as well in his NFL Picks column.
