The pressure is building for the Broncos to give Tim Tebow a shot, could it come against the Chargers?
The Tim Tebow hype train continues to pick up steam, which is not a very good reflection on the performances of Kyle Orton or the Denver Broncos. As they head into their showdown with the AFC West rival San Diego Chargers, Orton has a passer rating of 80.9 and a record of 1-3. Neither are doing anything to quiet the calls to give Tebow a chance.
The Chargers, meanwhile, are not exactly looking like a well-oiled machine, but are getting the results they need. Philip Rivers is piling up yardage at a rather impressive clip, but he's thrown six interceptions and just five touchdowns. the Chargers defense has also been a little less than stout, allowing 21.3 points and 377.8 yards of total offense per game.
