Tolbert and Ryan Matthews have driven the San Diego offense in this game, combining for more than 100 yards of offense in the first quarter alone. Matthews left the game for a little while with a strained calf, but he was able to return in the second quarter.

Prior to this game, Tolbert had 31 carries for 81 yards and a two touchdowns. To go along with that, he had 25 receptions for 206 yards and two touchdowns.

Tolbert’s status for games beyond this week will be subject to the league’s stringent rules pertaining to concussions. He will have to pass a series of concussion tests before he can return to action.
