Stay connected with SB Nation

Despite another solid offensive performance from quarterback Tom Brady, the England Patriots hold just a 27-21 lead over the New York Jets late in the fourth quarter. Brady has completed 23-of-32 passes for 314 yards, but he has just one touchdown to show for it. Deion Branch caught a short two-yard pass from Brady early in the third quarter for the score.

Patriots running back BenJarvus Green-Ellis has scored twice and picked up 128 yards through the fourth quarter. Wes Welker has nearly kept pace through the air with 124 receiving yards.

But New York Jets quarterback Mark Sanchez has fought back and delivered two touchdown passes in the second half. Still, the Jets offense has failed to make the plays it should be finishing and has been outgained by nearly 200 yards.
