Sure, New York Giants quarterback Eli Manning threw for 420 yards and three touchdowns, but those three interceptions were a major problem. His final one cost the Giants a chance to defeat the Seattle Seahawks. Manning had the Giants at the Seahawks' 10-yard line with less than 90 seconds left in the game. It should have been simple, but Manning made it anything but that.
Manning has trips to his left on this play. He drops back and stays with Victor Cruz who ran the under route before turning up the field. Manning rifled the ball to Cruz for what would have been a nice one-handed grab had he come up with it. Instead, Brandon Browner picks off the ball and returns it for a 94-yard touchdown. Manning threw another interception on the next drive, nailing shut the coffin.
