Oakland Raiders wide receiver and return man Jacoby Ford made a sensational 41-yard reception on a pass from quarterback Carson Palmer. Ford got a clean release at the line of scrimmage, beating Dante Hughes off the line, and made a spinning twisting catch. On the play, Ford injured his left ankle and immediately went down after completing the catch.
Ford was down for a while and needed assistance to get off of the football field. Ford was then carted to the locker room. Without Ford, the Raiders are hit at two positions, wide receiver and return man. Ford is explosive in both areas as evidenced by his reception. He's also a dangerous return man, capable of hitting a crease and scoring on any play because of his speed.
