The New England Patriots and New York Jets face off on Sunday. The Week 10 NFL picks and predictions have the Jets beating Tom Brady's team more often than not.
The New England Patriots and New York Jets have been known to put on some good games in recent years, but neither team has looked particularly impressive this season. Tom Brady and the Patriots are coming off of consecutive losses for the first time in a long time, actually leaving the Week 10 NFL picks picks and predictions a bit more intriguing than most games this week.
With New England looking more and more ... not quite average, but good instead of great, Sports Illustrated's Peter King had to pick against the Pats.
Jets 31, Patriots 21
Weird thing about football in the last three weeks: Tom Brady's been pretty good. Pretty rare thing, because he's supposed to be Unitas every weekend. But the Patriots have scored 20, 17 and 20 in the last three games -- two of them losses -- and the lack of a deep threat and difference-maker in the running games (Danny Woodhead touches from scrimmage in the last three games: 16) has put the kind of pressure on Brady that no quarterback on a good team feels right now. Big edge for the Jets, who put consistent, punishing pressure on Ryan Fitzpatrick last week.
The experts over at CBS Sports weren't quite as confident in the Jets, however, as three picked New York while Will Brinson and Pete Prisco both picked the Patriots. Yahoo! Sports' Jason Cole, along with the fans, picked the Patriots too while Seth Wickersham was the lone ESPN expert to predicts a Jets loss.
