NFL Picks And Predictions Week 10: Giants Vs. 49ers

The New York Giants and San Francisco 49ers face off on Sunday in a battle of NFC surprises. The Week 10 NFL picks and predictions are pretty much predicting a good game despite the actual picks being split.

The New York Giants playing the San Francisco 49ers is a match-up that hasn't needed to be on the NFL marquee in quite some time. Considering the two teams have combined for just three losses so far this season, however, the Week 10 picks and predictions seem to indicate fans are in for a solid game.

The imitable Peter King of Sports Illustrated sums up the main reason Sunday's game should make for compelling television.

49ers 20, Giants 17
Very dangerous picking against a karma team. But both these teams have karma right now, don't they? I pick the Niners for one reason and one reason only: I trust Frank Gore (last five games: 100 carries, 634 yards) to own this game against a Giants front giving up 4.6 yards per carry more than I trust the Giants' rush to gash a Niner D giving up 3.5 yards per carry.

As far as the rest of the NFL experts are concerned, CBS Sports had just one analyst (Mike Freeman) pick the visiting Giants -- a sentiment Yahoo! Sports' Jason Cole can get behind. ESPN's expert panel was a bit more split, however, as they went 50-50 among their eight analysts.
