The Houston Texans and Tampa Bay Buccaneers will face off in a battle of two of the better mid-tier teams in the NFL this weekend. That mid-tier status shows, too, in the Week 10 NFL picks and predictions.
Before getting to the picks, however, Sports Illustrated's Peter King submits his weekly prediction.
Houston Texans (30) at Tampa Bay Buccaneers (23)
Gained a lot of respect for the Texans this year. They used to be the guys who'd blow leads in the fourth quarter as regularly as Wimpy ate hamburgers. Now, without maybe their two best players -- Andre Johnson and Mario Williams -- they've won three straight by 20.7 per game. This will be a tale-teller, though. The Bucs need this one badly to stay close in the NFC South race, and I'm picking the Texans because of their strong two-headed runner, Arian Foster and Ben Tate.
The CBS Sports experts agree with King as all five panelists picked the visitors to pick up the victory. Over at Yahoo! Sports, leading picker Mike Silver was the only expert brave enough to pick the hosting Buccaneers. ESPN had two experts, Mike Golic and Adam Schefter, pick the Bucs.
