Cardinals Vs. Eagles: TV Schedule, Game Time Announcers And More

The 3-5 Eagles hope to kickoff a second half playoff run with a win over the Arizona Cardinals on Sunday. Arizona may be without starting quarterback Kevin Kolb for a second straight week.

Once considered a Super Bowl favorite, the Philadelphia Eagles now find themselves on the outside of the playoff picture looking in. A Monday night loss to the Chicago Bears was another major hit to their wildcard chances, putting the Eagles firmly behind the eight ball and needing a great run over the second half of the season to even be in contention. That run will have to start Sunday with a win over a very beatable Arizona Cardinals club.

The Cardinals didn't have any grand aspirations coming into the season, though they certainly were hoping to be more competitive than 2-6 through eight games. Last week's win in overtime over the hapless St. Louis Rams was Arizona's first since Week 1. John Skelton started at quarterback in place of an injured Kevin Kolb, putting up serviceable numbers. Kolb is questionable for Sunday's game, potentially putting Skelton back in the line of fire in what should be a tougher matchup.

If the Eagles do go on a run, they will need more consistency out of Michael Vick. The enigmatic quarterback has thrown six interceptions to five touchdowns over his last four outings, struggling particularly in the fourth quarter. Vick ranks 30th in the league with just one fourth-quarter touchdown pass this season.
