Broncos running back Willis McGahee suffered a hamstring injury in the first quarter against the Chiefs on Sunday. McGahee went down without being hit, his leg appearing to give out -- his return is questionable according to the Denver Broncos official Twitter feed.
McGahee had 17 yards on four carries before going down. The Broncos are sticking almost exclusively to the run in the first half against the Chiefs, rushing the ball 14 times in the first quarter without attempting one pass. Obviously that will be tough to keep up without their primary back.
UPDATE: Broncos backup running back Knowshon Moreno has left the game with a knee injury and his return is doubtful, according to the Denver Broncos official Twitter feed.
