Arizona Cardinals quarterback John Skelton connected with wide receiver Larry Fitzgerald for a 10-yard touchdown pass. That score tied their game with the Philadelphia Eagles at 7-7. It also put Larry Fitzgerald in the history books.
With that catch, Fitzgerald tied Roy Green for the most touchdown catches in the history of the Cardinals franchise with 69.
Fitzgerald has two catches for 52 yards in the game so far. That includes a big play for 42 yards earlier in the game. For the season, Fitzgerald has 646 yards on 38 catches and four touchdowns.
Skelton is playing in place of an injured Kevin Kolb for the second week in a row. This is also the second week in a row that he and Fitzgerald have connected for a touchdown pass. Kolb is out with a turf toe injury, suffered behind a struggling Cardinals offensive line that has offered little in the way of protection.
Here’s the video of Fitzgerald’s touchdown.
