The Arizona Cardinals have tied the Philadelphia Eagles thanks to wide receiver Larry Fitzgerald, who else. Fitzgerald and quarterback John Skelton connected for Fitz’s second touchdown of the game to make it 14-14. That catch also put Fitzgerald in the record books. It was his 70th touchdown catch which gives him the franchise record for receiving touchdowns.
Here is the video of Fitzgerald’s second touchdown catch.
Fitzgerald now has five catches for 98 yards and two touchdowns. Prior to this game, Fitzgerald had just three touchdowns all season. Today, he is having a breakout game with backup quarterback John Skelton filling in for the injured Kevin Kolb. Do we smell a quarterback controversy brewing in Arizona? Stay tuned.
