VIDEO: Mario Manningham Puts Giants Ahead With Great Touchdown Grab

Stay connected with SB Nation

The New York Giants and San Fransisco 49ers are involved in a very good defensive battle, but there's been a little bit of fun offensive play too. Eli Manning threw a terrible interception to Carlos Rogers earlier in the game, but he made up for it, as you can see in the video below, with a fantastic touchdown pass. The catch might have been even better than the throw, as Mario Manningham does a fantastic job to get two feet down at the back of the end zone to put six on the board and give his team the lead.

At the end of the third quarter, the Giants lead the 49ers by a score of 13-12. Frank Gore has been struggling with an ankle injury, while both teams are struggling to move the ball period. In a game with two defenses playing this well, Manningham's big touchdown grab could eventually make a huge difference.
