Chicago Bears cornerback Chris Tillman picked up his first interception of the season against the Lions today. Tillman returned it 44 yards for a touchdown that gave the Bears a 34-6 lead over their division rivals, the Detroit Lions. Check out the video of Tillman’s pick six right here.
Lions quarterback Matthew Stafford was trying to connect with Calvin Johnson on a short pass to the left side of the field when Tillman made the interception. That was Stafford’s second interception of the game. Both picks have been costly for the Lions. Minutes before Tillman’s interception, Stafford was picked off by safety Major Wright who returned it 24 yards for a score.
Chicago has three touchdowns from their defense and special teams. Besides the two interception returns, all-universe return man Devin Hester scored an 82-yard punt-return touchdown.
Stafford is struggling, and the Bears have locked up Calvin Johnson, who has just 37 receiving yards on five catches.
