In what was dubbed by the media hype machine as the biggest game of the season for both teams, the New York Jets fell flat against the New England Patriots at home, as the Pats won by a final score of 37-16.
For the most part, the stats on the Jets' side don't look terrible and certainly aren't indicative of a 21-point loss. That is, until you look at the turnover column. The Jets coughed up the ball three times - twice on Mark Sanchez interceptions - while the Pats didn't turn the ball over. Tom Brady was excellent on the night, though Rob Gronkowski made his life easy with a spectacular performance. Here are the video highlights.
The Patriots now lead the AFC East, though it remains extremely tight. They sit at 6-3, while both the Jets and Buffalo Bills are just one game behind them at 5-4.
