The Minnesota Vikings got the football back after Aaron Rodgers and the Green Bay Packers marched right down the football field to go up 14-0. Rookie quarterback Christian Ponder made some nice throws on the drive under duress, a 33-yard pass to Visanthe Shiancoe to cross midfield. A few plays later, the drive was almost foiled by what looked like a great interception by cornerback Charles Woodson.
The interception was overturned on review however, as the ball clearly hit the ground. The Vikings lined up for a 47-yard field, that Ryan Longwell drilled into the wind, but there was a false start penalty. Longwell lined up to attempt a now 52-yard field, being a perfect 10 for 10 on field goals over 50 yards on the season, but he missed it into the wind.
