The San Francisco 49ers look to continue their path to an NFC West title with a division game against the Arizona Cardinals.
The NFC West isn't all that much different in 2011 compared to 2010, except for one major difference: the San Francisco 49ers are running away with the division at 8-1. All the other teams are with losing records, however. That includes the 49ers opponent this Sunday: the Arizona Cardinals.
According to Odds Shark, the 49ers opened as 10-point favorites and the line has gone up to 11 points in some places.
It would be hard to count out the Cardinals, as a double-digit spread is often too much for the favored team to cover, but it's even harder to do so after the performance of John Skelton over the past two weeks. Thanks to his efforts, the Cardinals come into their matchup with the division-leading 49ers on a two-game win-streak. On the downside, those wins came against the bad St. Louis Rams and the not-as-good-as-advertised Philadelphia Eagles.
The over/under for this game rangers between 40-1/2-41-1/2 points, which might be overcome if the 49ers score in bunches.
