Sunday Night Football this season has featured some really poor matches, but things are looking up this week as the Philadelphia Eagles and the New York Giants clash in an NFC East matchup. The Giants have already defeated the Eagles once this season and will go for the sweep as favorites. Odds Shark opened with the Giants as 3-1/2 point favorites and it has moved up to five points already.
The Eagles are on a two-game losing streak and stand at 3-6, a far cry from being a "Dream Team." Philadelphia is likely to be without Michael Vick, who has several broken ribs. Vince Young is expected to start, but Mike Kafka is also in the mix and has been splitting snaps with the first-team offense this week. The Giants, on the other hand, are smarting from their loss to the San Francisco 49ers and want to get back on track in the NFC East.
The over/under for this game stands at 46-1/2 points. It might be difficult for the teams to reach without Vick playing.
