The Green Bay Packers will look to stay undefeated this weekend as they play host to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. The NFL odds and lines favor the Packers, but it will be difficult for them to cover such a wide spread.
The Green Bay Packers are inching closer and closer to an undefeated season each week, but they say they aren't looking past any opponents. This week's match-up is Josh Freeman and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, a team Vegas all but insists the Packers can look past considering the current NFL odds.
The Packers opened as 13 point favorites, but that line has risen to as many as 16 points throughout the week according to Odds Shark's database of betting lines. Considering the team led by Aaron Rodgers is coming off of a 45-7 blowout victory and the Buccaneers lost 37-9 last week, it probably shouldn't surprise anyone that the line is slowly rising.
The over-under game hasn't changed nearly as much as the actual betting line, fluctuating from 48 to 49 points depending on the website. Considering the likelihood of a blowout based on each team's past game, it's difficult to assume just how far the score might be run up.
