The Cardinals put their winning streak on the line against the red-hot 49ers.
A seven-game winning streak has turned the NFC West into a one-horse race, with the San Francisco 49ers playing the role of Secretariat.
While the famous racehorse is most celebrated for his 1973 U.S. Triple Crown, the Arizona Cardinals have a different sort of trifecta on the agenda for this Sunday: their first three-game win streak of the season.
Standing in their way are the red-hot 49ers, who are on their longest winning streak since ripping off 11 in a row during the 1997 season and look to take another step towards their first playoff appearance since 2002 this weekend at Candlestick Park.
According to Odds Shark, the 49ers opened as 10-point favorites and the line has gone up to 11 points in some places.
The CBSSports.com experts are all predicting the Niners will walk away with the victory while Peter King thinks San Fran gets an easy 29-13 victory.
