In the Philadelphia Eagles' Week 10 loss to the Arizona Cardinals, Michael Vick suffered two cracked ribs. He's currently being listed as questionable, but his participation in the Week 11 game against the New York Giants seems unlikely. He's not practicing as both Vince Young and Mike Kafka take snaps in practice, while there are multiple reports that he will not play.
Young is most likely to start for the Eagles, and it's tough to predict what Eagles fans can expect. He's been a thoroughly average quarterback in his time in the NFL, showing occasional flashes of brilliance while struggling with his passing accuracy. He has the ability to take over a game, but previous performances in a Titans uniform suggest that he'll need plenty of help from his defense and running game to get the job done.
At 3-6, the Eagles' chances of making the playoffs are slim. Should they fail to defeat the division-leading 6-3 New York Giants on Sunday night, those hopes will be all but mathematically gone. Only a great performance by the San Fransisco Giants in Week 10 against the Giants has kept the Eagles hanging on by a thread in the NFC East.
Eli Manning is having perhaps the best season of his career thus far, but he will need a great performance from Brandon Jacobs against the Eagles. Running back Ahmad Bradshaw is out again this week with a foot injury, and Jacobs is averaging just 3.2 yards per carry on the season.
