NFL Scores Week 11, Seahawks Vs. Rams: Seattle Wins 24-7 Snoozer

Marshawn Lynch and the Seattle defense got the Seahawks a win against the lowly Rams.

ANIMATED: Fat Guy Interception From Red Bryant Helps Seattle Bury The Rams

The St. Louis Rams are collapsing hard and fast, faster than anyone might have imagined. Quarterback Sam Bradford was just picked off by Seattle defensive lineman Red Bryant. However, Bradford is not really the story here, Bryant’s fat guy interception is the story. Bryant even included a stiff arm to make if all the more special.

Check out the video of today’s fat guy interception.

Bradford stared down his target, wide receiver Austin Pettis. The ball was tipped, and Bryant was the man on the scene, plucking it out of the air and making it all his own. He then threw the stiff arm and moved five yards up the field.

That gave Seattle possession at the Rams’ 21-yard line. Three plays later, the Seahawks punched it in for a touchdown on a 22-yard run from Justin Forsett, that gave them lead the Rams would have a hard time clawing back from with their offense sputtering.

VIDEO: Sam Bradford Fumble Leads To Seattle Scoring Drive

The Seattle Seahawks and St. Louis Rams need all the help they can get. Decimated by injuries, both teams have struggled offensively in a division showdown today. However, a sack-fumble combination from Seattle defensive end Chris Clemons may have been just what the doctor ordered for the Seahawks.

Bradford was pulled down at his own 38-yard line by Clemons. Seattle got the ball back on the Rams’ 25-yard line.

Check out the video of Clemons’ sack and the fumble return.

The Seahawks moved the ball to the Rams’ three-yard line after four plays, including a key Marshawn Lynch first down to extend the drive. On third-and-one, Lynch punched the ball in for a touchdown, giving Seattle a 17-7 lead over the Rams.

That was the eighth fumble this season for Bradford, and the fifth one he has lost. In the first quarter, Bradford threw his fifth touchdown pass of the season, another sign that the Rams quarterback is mired in a sophomore slump.

Seahawks Vs. Rams Score: Seattle Leads 10-7 At Halftime

The Seattle Seahawks lead the St. Louis Rams by a field goal, 10-7 at the half. Both teams limped into this game having suffered a disproportionate amount of injuries to their starting roster. Particularly hard hit were the offensive lines, and the stat sheet reflects that. Seattle quarterback Tarvaris Jackson has been sacked four times, and Rams running back Steven Jackson has managed just 25 rushing on 10 attempts.

Seattle has been intercepted twice, and the Rams were able to convert one of those interceptions into seven points. Sam Bradford hit wide receiver Brandon Lloyd for a 30-yard touchdown. Seattle struck back in the second quarter. Jackson connected with Sidney Rice for a 14-yard touchdown. Seattle then kicked a field goal with three seconds left in the half following a Rams pass interference penalty that took them to the one-yard line.

VIDEO: Brandon Lloyd Touchdown Catch Puts Rams On Top

The St. Louis Rams struck first in a divisional battle against the Seattle Seahawks. Safety Quintin Mikell picked off Tarvaris Jackson, and returned it to the Seahawks’ 27-yard line. That was the second Seattle interception of the game, the first being thrown on a trick play by Sidney Rice. Quarterback Sam Bradford hit wide receiver Brandon Lloyd in the end zone for a 30-yard touchdown on second down to give the Rams a 7-0 lead with nine minutes left in the game’s opening frame.

Since being acquired by the Rams at the NFL trade deadline, Lloyd has been their top receiver. This is his fourth game since joining St. Louis, and this was his third touchdown catch with the team. The touchdown catch was Lloyd’s first of the game, a relief for a team that has struggled in the red zone all season.

Check out the highlight video of Lloyd’s touchdown.
