The Dallas Cowboys seemed well on their way to victory when they took a 24-17 lead late in the fourth quarter. But with Rex Grossman at the helm, the Washington Redskins put together one final drive to put them in position to tie. With 22 second remaining, that's exactly what they did.
Grossman hit Donte Stallworth on a perfectly timed and placed fade to the back corner of the end zone. Replay upheld the play in which Stallworth deftly dragged his trailing foot before stepping out of bounds. It was Stallworth's third catch of the game for just 33 yards.
It was also Grossman's third touchdown and his second touchdown pass of the game. Grossman has been battling John Beck for the starter's role much of the season, but had regained the chance to start after three straight losses. Grossman was 21 of 34 for 255 yards early in the overtime period.
