The Tampa Bay Buccaneers had a brilliant turn of events with the clock winding down in the fourth quarter against Green Bay. Trailing 19-28, Elbert Mack intercepted Aaron Rodgers and returned the ball to the 50-yard line, including a highlight catch from Arrelious Benn at the two-yard line. Tampa Bay turned that into seven points, driving 50 yards on five plays to make it a two-point game.
Check out the video of the Josh Freeman to Desmon Briscoe touchdown that made it 26-28.
Tampa then tried the onside kick, but failed to recover the ball. That gave Green Bay and the deadly effective Aaron Rodgers great field position at the Bucs’ 48-yard line. Rodgers then hit Jordy Nelson for a 30-yard touchdown pass to bury the Bucs 35-26 with less than three minutes to play in the game.
Here is the video Nelson’s touchdown, his second of the game.
A win would make the Packers 10-0 for the season so far.
