Aaron Rodgers and the Packers remained undefeated in 2011 with a win over the Bucs, but Green Bay's defense made it close, as usual.
Rodgers threw for 299 yards and three touchdowns, but completed an uncharacteristically low 23 of his 34 throws, and tossed a late interception that kept the Bucs in the game until the final minutes.
Jordy Nelson was Rodgers' favorite target, hauling in six passes for 123 yards and two touchdowns.
And the Packers defense allowed more yardage than Rodgers' offense put up. Josh Freeman carved up the Green Bay pass defense for 342 yards and two touchdowns, while LeGarrette Blount ran for 107 yards and a spectacular touchdown that featured a number of missed tackles.
This wasn't the sort of dominant win that will convince pundits that Green Bay is going to go undefeated. But with it, the Packers need just six more Ws to finish the regular season with a spotless record.
The win pushes Green Bay to 10-0 on the season. Tampa Bay falls to 4-6 with the loss.
