The Chicago Bears have been waiting for wide receiver Johnny Knox to find his stride from last season. He may have finally found it today, in a game against the San Diego Chargers. Quarterback Jay Cutler connected with Knox for a 24-yard touchdown with five minutes left to go in the third quarter.
Here is the video of the touchdown for your viewing pleasure.
That was the first touchdown of the season for Knox. He caught five touchdown passes last season, catching 51 passes total for 960 receiving yards. The Bears were counting on the third-year player to play a big role in their offensive this season.
Knox leads all Bears receivers with 97 receiving yards and a touchdown on three receptions today. He also has a pair of kick returns for 37 total yards.
Knox scored just seconds after the Bears recovered a Ryan Matthews fumble. They lead 31-20 early in the fourth quarter.
