Marshawn Lynch and the Seattle defense got the Seahawks a win against the lowly Rams.
The NFC West's cellar is semi-settled: the Seattle Seahawks are marginally less bad than the St. Louis Rams, and proved it in a 24-7 victory.
The Seahawks rode Marshawn Lynch (88 rushing yards and a touchdown) and Justin Forsett (31 yards and a touchdown) to the win, as Tarvaris Jackson struggled, throwing for 148 yards and a touchdown while giving the Rams two interceptions. Sidney Rice caught a touchdown pass, and also threw a 55-yard pass to Mike Williams.
Seattle scored the game's final 24 points.
The Rams' anemic offense was unable to do much of anything against the Seahawks. Sam Bradford threw for 181 yards with a touchdown and an interception, and Steven Jackson tallied just 42 yards on the ground.
The win pushes Seattle to 4-6 on the season. St. Louis falls to 2-8 with the loss.
