VIDEO: Vince Young Caps Off Excellent Drive With Touchdown Pass To Riley Cooper

Stay connected with SB Nation

The Philadelphia Eagles are without starting quarterback Michael Vick, who sat out the game against the New York Giants due to injury, but backup Vince Young is still doing what he can to keep his team's slim playoff hopes alive. Young led the Eagles on an 18-play drive in the fourth quarter before finally hitting receiver Riley Cooper to move Philadelphia ahead, 17-10, on the scoreboard at MetLife Stadium.

Cooper is Young's top target as he's been thrown to 12 times during the Sunday night game after not hauling in a reception at all during the first 10 weeks of the NFL season. Cooper has five receptions against the Giants, though, totaling 75 yards and the touchdown from the video below.

Vick finished the drive by completed seven of his nine passing attempts for 67 yards and the aforementioned pass to Cooper. He took reps with the first team this week, but not many could have guessed Young will lead the Eagles on a potential game-winning drive after he began the game with a pair of interceptions.
