Michael Vick Injury: Eagles QB May Miss Sunday Matchup With Patriots

Stay connected with SB Nation

Philadelphia Eagles quarterback Michael Vick missed the team's Week 11 matchup with the New York Giants after breaking multiple ribs the week prior against the Arizona Cardinals. For the second season in a row, Vick's ribs were an issue, and it may not be going away too quickly this year. In fact, early signs from Philadelphia this week indicate Vick may continue to be sidelined as he heals from his injuries.

According to Jeff McLane, Vick may not be ready to go as the Eagles face the Patriots this week.

Will be very difficult for Michael Vick to be ready for Sunday. Mood out of locker room and NovaCare was that Vince Young will start again.

Vince Young was at the helm when the Eagles came back to beat the Giants, he did struggle at times. The offense seems to click more with Vick at the helm, though Young proved to be a capable backup despite the drop-off from the typical performance of Vick.
