Both teams are running the football effectively and neither quarterback is making mistakes, but the Baltimore Ravens and San Fransisco 49ers have still been able to score a touchdown between them. Baltimore leads the Harbaugh Bowl by a halftime score of 6-3, but the game has had better offense than the score suggests. Both defenses have stepped up their games when the opposing offenses have gotten into their territory, forcing field goals.
Baltimore got close to scoring a touchdown late in the second quarter, but the 49ers made three stops from inside 10 yards to force a field goal. On third and goal, Joe Flacco attempted a quarterback draw, but was completely stuffed. It was a questionable call at best by the Ravens.
The 49ers were driving on what appeared to be an excellent two-minute drill to close off the half, but Alex Smith got a bit too aggressive with seconds remaining. With his team in field goal range, Smith went deep for Braylon Edwards, but had the ball snatched away from him by Ladarius Webb, who made a crucial interception.
